FAO: Global food price index rose by 1% month-on-month in April.

On May 2, Jin10 reported that on May 2 local time, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations released data showing that driven by the rise in prices of major grains, meat, and dairy products, the global food price index was 128.3 points, an increase of 1% month-on-month and a rise of 7.6% year-on-year.
