The SEC Chairman announced the promotion of encryption asset regulation formulation and the restructuring of the FinHub department.

According to Gate News bot, Wu Shuo reported that Paul Atkins, the chairman of the SEC, announced a series of new regulatory measures for encryption assets at the SEC conference. The SEC plans to draft rules related to encryption assets and simultaneously support an integrated custody mechanism for custodial securities and non-security assets.

In terms of organizational restructuring, FinHub, which was originally responsible for encryption innovation matters, will be integrated into other business departments. This adjustment aims to enhance operational efficiency, and the SEC is repositioning itself as a regulatory agency that supports innovation.
