Lauren Tomasi, an American reporter for CNN's Australian news agency Nine News, was hit by rubber bullets fired by nearby police while covering protests in Los Angeles on Sunday. Pointing to police officers on the side of the road in front of the camera, she said, "Los Angeles police came up on horseback and fired rubber bullets at protesters as they walked through the heart of Los Angeles. A few seconds later, there was a loud bang, and Tomasi grabbed her leg and screamed in pain. The crew quickly backed away, and a few voices asked if she was okay. According to Australian news outlets, Tomasi is still in pain, but not injured.
