The Democratic Republic of the Congo has sentenced 37 people, including many foreign citizens, to death for their involvement in an attempted coup.

On September 14th, Jin10 Data reported that on September 13th local time, the Military Court of the Democratic Republic of the Congo made a ruling regarding the attempted coup in May this year, sentencing 37 people involved in the attempted coup to death, including participants holding passports from the United States, the United Kingdom, Belgium, and Canada. Those who have been sentenced to death will have 5 days to decide whether to appeal.
