On January 15, according to the Financial Times, Canada's energy minister said that Canada is willing to buy more U.S. military equipment and establish a deeper alliance with the southern neighbor for critical minerals. Currently, the Canadian government is trying to persuade President-elect Donald Trump not to impose steep tariffs.
