[Chain News] On July 29, it was reported on the official website that the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) warned investors that BTG Technology Holdings Limited and its affiliated entities (a trading platform) are promoting and offering Crypto Assets futures products to Australian investors without holding an Australian Financial Services (AFS) license. ASIC pointed out that the related products on the platform have high leverage and high risks, with a maximum leverage of up to 125 times, far exceeding Australia’s 2:1 leverage limit set for Crypto Assets derivation. Investments in unlicensed products will not enjoy protection under Australian financial services law. ASIC reminds investors to verify whether the relevant companies or individuals are licensed before investing and to be cautious of investment risks.
