Sui Liquid Staking Hacker Competition Finalist Projects Overview

After more than 40 days of registration and strict selection, the list of finalists for the Sui liquid staking Hackathon has finally been announced. Six teams from each track have successfully advanced to Demo Day. Let's take a look at these outstanding projects.

1. Aftermath Finance (LSD) Aftermath Finance is a comprehensive decentralized trading platform based on Sui Move, offering CLOB settlement for spot, perpetual contracts, and options, CMMM for long-tail assets and indices, as well as built-in money market functionalities.

2. DegenHive DegenHive combines a centralized liquidity DEX with the governance model of HiveVerse NFT, aiming to fully leverage the potential of $SUI on the Sui network.

3. Haedal Protocol Haedal is a liquid staking protocol based on Sui, where users can stake $SUI to earn haSUI while participating in DeFi activities to earn additional income and contribute to the governance and decentralization of the Sui ecosystem.

4. Interest Protocol Interest Protocol is a DeFi protocol that supports swapping and lending, where liquidity providers can use LP tokens as collateral to borrow the stablecoin Sui Dollar to hedge against impermanent loss.

5. SUISA SUISA (SUI Staking Aquarium) is a DeFi protocol on Sui that allows you to stake $SUI to earn stSUI, and you can also mint NFTs using stSUI.

6. Volo Volo is a liquid staking solution on Sui that helps users maximize the utility and liquidity of SUI by providing voloSUI.

2. Bucket Protocol Bucket Protocol is a CDP protocol on Sui that features non-custodial, immutable, and governance-free characteristics, allowing users to use $SUI, $BTC, $ETH, and LST as collateral to exchange for the required Token at zero interest.

3. Desig The Desig protocol provides a multi-signature solution suitable for the entire blockchain, compatible with all DApps on EVM and non-EVM chains.

4. Kana Labs Kana Labs is a user-friendly application for DeFi and GameFi, dedicated to building the future of web3.

5. Legato Legato provides fixed-rate solutions for liquid staking assets and predicts the volatility of annual interest rates on Sui. The project won first place at the WebX Move hackathon in July 2023.

6. Wisp Swap WispSwap is a decentralized trading and prediction market on Sui, utilizing an asymmetric concentrated liquidity DEX with automatically adjusted parameters, using the Ve (3,3) economic design model to forecast decentralized markets.

  • Participating teams: 10 minutes per team (5 minutes for presentation + 5 minutes for Q&A)

Evaluation Criteria

• The reviewers will prepare questions for each project.
• The jury is selected by the Sui Foundation and partners from hackathon collaborators, sponsors, and ecological projects.
• The score is calculated based on preset criteria, removing the highest and lowest scores before calculating the total.
• Determine the winners of each award using standardized average review scores.
• The results of the competition will be announced on October 2.
