Tezos Will Improve After Nairobi Upgrade
There are many important developments taking place in the crypto money industry. It comes to the fore especially in the updates made about the blockchain. This time, the Tezos blockchain has accomplished the network's fourteenth upgrade, "Nairobi," in a move that makes transaction speeds up to eight times faster, among other enhancements.
Tezos, Nairobi Upgrade on the agenda
Blockchain was previously able to process up to 1 million transactions per second (tps) after the “Mumbai” update in March. The developers said that Nairobi has introduced a new fee mechanism that charges users differently based on network usage, instead of a one-size-fits-all flat fee as charged in previous blockchain versions.
In addition, Nairobi Tezos' Smart Rollups is a scaling tool that allows even faster network usage, enabling it to be upgraded continuously and automatically in the future as newer upgrades are deployed on Tezos.
Meanwhile, Tezos network usage is currently significantly low. Tezos has only processed 68,000 transactions in the last 24 hours compared to popular blockchains in the same timeframe. Let's also mention that 'Nairobi' is the fourteenth upgrade of the blockchain.
