Recently, stablecoin giant Circle officially listed on the New York Stock Exchange, becoming another important player in the traditional capital market after several cryptocurrency-related companies, marking a milestone moment in the stablecoin sector.
Circle has ultimately raised the issue price to $31, expanding the total number of shares issued to 34 million, with total fundraising close to $1.1 billion. The oversubscription ratio for this round of IPO reached 25 times, reflecting strong market interest in the company.
On the first day of listing, Circle's stock price performed exceptionally strong. The opening price soared above 100 dollars at one point, triggering the circuit breaker mechanism multiple times due to intense trading. At the close, the stock price reported 83.23 dollars, rising 168% from the issue price, with a total market capitalization reaching 18.4 billion dollars and a trading volume exceeding 47.78 million shares, approximately 4.014 billion dollars.
